I wanted to record some audio files that i downloaded from a legal source that has the extension .dts(called as DTS Audio songs) on to CD/DVD without losing the DTS effect
So i spent time searching on internet but no luck. There is tool available to record the .wav dts songs but not .dts songs.
Well, finally Nero Burner can do the job.
DTS Audio or video disc can give you the exact sound effect that was recorded in the "recording studio"
If anyone interested, a DTS CD is nothing but a Audio Song with a minimum of 5.1 channels information. Normal Audio CD or mp3 has only 2 channel output.
A DTS CD can be recorded on a CDR or CDRW.
DTS CD can also be stored with 7.2 or higher channel outputs, there were the HDDVD or Blu ray comes.
Finally, to play a DTS CD you need a player which has a minimum of Optical or Coaxial output, which inturns connect to a amplifier or home cinema system.
Also there is way to do it without buying Nero, but i dont have time to test on such.
