Hi all. I need somebody to give me suggestions and ideas in how to find a job overseas. the main problem is we can't go consultants we can only send our resumes and wait for their reply which they never do. We cant call them as it very costly to call overseas. Only option is networking of people some of them who are willing to help.
Now each one us knows something extra. Why don't we share that something extra and work on that and see if it works. In that way we will network also . The whole idea is about sharing. We can start new thread. If any of you guys interested than lets DO IT.

Dont trust the Consultants words. One thing I wanna convey is that is we'd be matured enough to accept a little fact. If locally they dont get the right people for the salary they are willing to offer then only they look for foreign engineers/workers. Not because they love us.
If anyone wants to come to SG, the most imp thing to remember is the Employment Pass. When one comes here on Visiting visa normally it lasts for 15 days which can be extended a couple of times which gives about 30 days time. So within these days one must get a job offer. A common practice here is once the job ad came in papers HR Managers wont start calling till they close the ad which lasts for 30 days. So the issue is how to stay here for more than 30 days. Unlike US you cant get a job visa ( e.g.H1B) unless you got a job here in Singapore. More info can be found @ groups.msn.com/singaporetelugumitrulu Enjoy
