As I twittered:
I won't use the Google toolbar or Google desktop, and I won't be trying the Google browser. Hurry up and change, Public Opinion!
When asked 'why?', it is the same reason that I don't want Microsoft managing all of my passwords for me. Despite any good intentions, I see it as putting too much power in the hands of one organisation.
No thank you.
Update: German government tells citizens not to use Google Chrome. While the article isn't presented very evenly and the German stance is stronger than mine, the point is the same.

Re: Am I the only one concerned by Google's browser?
That's a good opinion.
I downloaded the browser to try. I wouldn't use it as my primary browser - both because I'm so dependent on Firefox plugins and I like using a more mainstream browser. It's enough effort to deal with the sites that require IE and don't work in Firefox. (and complain to companies that I won't use IE to buy their products and find alternates) I can't really fault sites for not working in Google. It's brand new.
I am using Google's browser for a very specific use case. I plan to use 5 pages: mainly for two google applications (gmail and calendar) and a bit for editing 2 wiki pages and viewing another wiki page. I figure google pages will render very well in chrome. If there is nothing they are guaranteed to test, it's their own apps.
I also have a couple of Google documents. I don't edit them often, but when I do, I may use chrome for the same reason.

Too many new Big Brothers all around the net: Microsoft, Google, TCL companies... All spying like the worst spyware companies and crews...
Unfortunately, as a web developer, I will be forced to check this damned new browser too..
The only hope is that at least Microsoft whose domain will be eroded a bit more again will try to win for compatibility and not by OS spreading... as it did for Netscape!
