I just bumped into this post on TSS about Backbase, a RIA framework of some sort. I haven't really looked into it (and probably won't in the near future) but their front page graphics are really a textbook example of creating hype! Just look at those facial expressions :)

The site was practically down for at least an hour or so and they finally put up a note on the forum that they're doing some "maintenance"...

Anyway, yes, it's true. Apple starts migrating to Intel processors as of now. Jobs mentioned in his keynote that they've been building Mac OS X for both PPC and Intel for the past 5 years in secrecy, believe it or not. Talking about vision!
