Ben Griffiths brought some quotes from Paul Graham to my attention. The following is by far the best of them, in my opinion of course:

"At this point, anyone proposing to run Windows on servers should be prepared to explain what they know about servers that Google, Yahoo, and Amazon don't."

This other quote gave me a very warm feeling inside:

"Google is a rare example of a big company in tune with the forces I've described. They've tried hard to make their offices less sterile than the usual cube farm."

The warm feeling is because I recently moved from a dominantly cube farmish environment into a much more friendly open environment. Highly recommended.

Talking about cube farms... Check this out for some serious co-location :)
