A smart name indeed, Indeed is a new kind of online service--a kind of aggregator for job ads in major job sites such as Monster and JobServe. Personally, I find it as useful as replaceable cellphone covers*, but I suppose it can be a huge help for people who look for jobs using such websites.
* I once got contacted by a recruiter through a UK-based job site who mentioned some kind of a management role in the telecom industry that required 15+ years of work experience. I was probably around 21 years old at that time...
