It's been a while again since the last release of my favorite CI server, but it looks like the wait was worth it :)

CruiseControl 2.3, which was released this past weekend, now supports (among other things) Ant style properties in config.xml, remote CVS modules, and a bunch of new publishers. There's also some kind of "preliminary support" for distributed builds for those who've been anxiously waiting for it.

Not that they wouldn't deserve it every day, I feel a warm "thank you" for Jeffrey, Joris, Hack, and the rest of the bunch is in place!

UPDATE: I was just browsing the RubyConf 2005 website and spotted a mention about DamageControl, the Ruby-based CI server, having a stable release scheduled for Q3/2005. Nice.

UPDATE2: I also realized that I had forgotten to mention the one feature I was most excited about in the CruiseControl 2.3 changelog--the binary distribution with a built-in Jetty servlet container. That should do wonders for simplifying the first steps towards a running CI setup!

Have you tried Luntbuild ? It has a pretty good management UI and it is really easy to get it up and running. I like the ability to define multiple build schedules for a project (continuous integration build, nightly build, etc.)
I have looked at it, but haven't used it for real.
I think it was Frank who first told me about Luntbuild some 1 1/2 years ago and he also said some nice things about it. I suppose I should give it a go but right now I have a feeling that I won't be spending much effort on looking at alternatives (too much on my plate already as it is).
I tried to use CruiseControl, but had too many problems. Now I'm a (quite) happy user of Luntbuild. It's easier to configure through its web UI, although the usability sucks here and there. Luntbuild seems to be much more reliable than CruiseControl; we had lots of problems CruiseControl just freezing and not building anymore. This hasn't ever happened with Luntbuild.
