Specs are a basis for _talking_about_ things.
But they are _not_ a basis for implementing software.

Cool. But nowhere near as astonishing as Backpack was when I first saw it. I didn't have too much expectations, not having had the time recently to keep up with everything in the blogosphere, so I can't say I'm disappointed as such. Besides, it's a free service (for now) and clearly of some value even if it wouldn't be all it was (apparently) cranked up to be.
