It's been a while again since I've blogged so it's about time I come up for some clean blogosphere air.

But why now? Why today after 7 weeks of inactivity do I suddenly blog again?

It has something to do with the book, right?

Yes, I am that predictable.

For the past weeks, I've been again balancing my personal life with the manuscript for Test Driven and today I reached a milestone. All chapters have now went through what Manning calls an author review, meaning that the chapters have been written, rewritten, copy edited, tech proofed, and reviewed by the author.

WHICH MEANS IT'S ALMOST DONE!

What's still left to do is the front matter, meaning preface and that other stuff that goes between the front cover and the first chapter.

All 12 chapters are already available through the Manning Early Access Program and it won't be long before the final e-book goes live. And then it's just a few weeks before the hard copy hits the shelves!

Exciting!

But now, I'm off to bed. Big day tomorrow. I'm going to grab the 5D and shoot a friend-of-a-friend's wedding.

Congratulations -- It must feel great to have the conclusion drawing near!
Thanks, Jeffrey. It does.
Or were you referring to the wedding? ;)
