Ersin agreed to join the "Uncontrolled Vocabularies" enterprise as a contributor to this blog. Or so I hope. :-) For those who don't know Ersin -- he is a former JavaRanch moderator. He left us on the eve of the US invasion of Iraq (if you think I am too liberal, wait for his entries...) Ersin is a doctor by education, he left his native Turkey in 1995. Now he lives in New York. His photos leave me speechless, and the way he expresses himself -- "the structure of my sentences scares me" -- is marvelous. :-) As I. Brodsky said, "Welcome to everything!"

This is a really interesting move. I've always appreciated Ersin's individual take on life, and I look forward to reading some thought-proviking stuff in the future.
