Linguists own the word verb ; others are only borrowing it. German is the best Language for Philosophy because all its Nouns are capitalized. Aristotle Thirty Years Later: He's gotten a lot smarter since the last time I read him.

Re: More assorted quotes
The quote about the word "verb" reminded me of an add campaign on the cable channel Nickelodeon. "Verb. It's what you do." One of the commercials said something like, "Get out of your chair and verb," which I thought was a clever way to turn the noun "verb" into a verb!
