Here's a quiz from 5th grade math, honey: you just said you're doing at least as well as the failed administration you replaced. So, by what property did you just call the current administration a failure? Was it:
- Commutative?
- Transitive?
- Associative?

Clinton = Failure
Bush = Failure
Clinton and Bush are therefore alike.
A commutative argument would have gone aomething like: 8 years of Clinton followed by 8 years of Bush would have been no different than 8 years of Bush followed by 8 years of Clinton.
