[Big Moose Saloon] Discussion on "Why Dependency Injection is better than Factory?"

Recently the relative merits of the Singleton and Factory Patterns were discussed. But since Dependency Injection is all the rage these days, a members wonders how it compares with Factory. The discussion takes place here in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum.
