Update and Futre book?
Trying to answer the common question from my talks

Well I been busy as can be lately and that is why my blog has remained static for a long time. It seems like I should be having a little bit more free time in the upcoming weeks so I should have some new entries, including files from my AjaxSeminar and AjaxExperience talks.

I just got back from the Ajax Experience in San Francisco and I am jet lagged. I adjusted to the 3 hour time difference too well and overslept to get to work this morning. I learned a lot from talking to the massive number of people that attended the event. A common question at the event was "When are you writing another book on Ajax?"

Well I thought I would make this answer public. I have drafted a TOC for my next book, but no one has seen it at the moment. Well my wife has since she was reading over my shoulder on the plane. She kept commenting that I will never able to read my hand writing. I write my TOC on paper and not on a computer. Why? The main reason is that I can scribble notes all over the place and draw stickmen when I am not thinking. PLUS it does not require a battery like my laptop and tablet do. If I had power, I probably would have used One Note to scribble down my ideas. The book is in the very very very beginning stages. When will it be out? Who knows, the publisher is just finding out now that I have a TOC started so they are getting the news the same time you are.

What is the book going to be about? Well all I am saying right now is it is on Ajax. I will also say this book is based on what people ask me and want to know. So if you asked me a question at any of my speaking engagements, I logged it in my brain and I am making sure it is answered fully. If you have seen my talks on errors and issues, you have a clue what my aim is already. My personal goal for this book is to give you the keys to make your Ajax application more reliable.

When more details are released about the book I will make sure to post them here. I will also try to get it released on MEAP so you can see it has I am writing it.
